Singer-songwriter Beth Orton may no longer be crafting hybrid jams with the Chemical Brothers, and her evolutionary sound may skew more into folk than electronica these days. But her devoted fanbase is no less excited for her long-awaited new album Sugaring Season, dropping next week. The delightful Brit gamely tolerated internment in the Tumblr Closet for a few hard questions about glockenspiels and amorous felines.
